OUR ECO HAIR ACCESSORIES ARE NOW 100% CO2-NEUTRAL

Our ECO hair accessory line is manufactured entirely from recycled or renewable raw materials. We take care to ensure the shortest possible transportation routes and environmentally-friendly forms of transit. However, all production generates CO2 emissions, no matter how conscientiously it is done. That is why we compensate for 100% of all remaining and unavoidable emissions through a local Swiss environmental protection project.

Together with our partner, Swiss Climate, we have analysed the CO2 footprint of our ECO hair accessory products all along the entire value chain on a scientific basis and reduced it to a minimum. CO2 emissions are identified and recorded in accordance with the “Greenhouse Gas Protocol Product Life Cycle Accounting and Reporting Standard” and ISO 14067. The CO2 emissions from material procurement to sale and the disposal/recycling of the product (“cradle-to-sale” + end-of-life) are analysed. Based on the results, measures are taken to further reduce the CO2 footprint.

WE SUPPORT A CERTIFIED SWISS CLIMATE PROTECTION PROJECT

In order to fully compensate for unavoidable emissions, we work to protect the climate through the forests of Switzerland. We support a project in the Canton Schwyz to ensure CO2 storage and the sustainable management of 7,279 hectares of forest. This protects the climate, maintains the biodiversity of the Swiss forests and makes the production of wood for renewable energy generation possible. Thanks to the contributions to the project, the protective function of the forest against natural hazards can be maintained. You can find out more about the climate protection project here:

Our knitted hair ties made of reused polymide Q-nova© and recycled PET are 100% CO2-compensated, and therefore absolutely CO2 neutral. The materials used come from a certified source according to the Global Recycling Standard and are especially resilient and maintain their shape well. Not only that, but our round knitted hair ties are extremely soft and gentle on hair, without an irritating seam. No tearing, no pulling, and guaranteed to be comfortable!

WE CARE BARETTES

High-quality, resource-saving barettes made of natural cellulose acetate M-49© is what we care about! Our 100% CO2-compensated barettes are made of cellulose acetate, which comes from cotton and wood pulp fibers. By mixing in natural softening agents, an ideal granulate for further processing is created. The natural plastic consists of 68% provable renewable materials. Our barrettes are manufactured from renewable raw materials which are not in competition with the food chain. That saves resources – we like it!

Our spiral hair ties are made of 100% recycled plastic and are completely CO2 neutral. The post-consumer plastics used come from a GRS-certified source. The material used gets a new lease on life, without visual or qualitative limitations! The spiral hair ties are suitable for all hair types, from fine to very thick. Thanks to their shape, they are also gentle on hair and leave no indentations.
